Inspecs
have engineered these optical frames to the highest
of standards. The materials are lightweight and flexible.
The joints and hinges are constructed to very precise
tolerances. Many of the processes are manufactured by
hand so each frame gets inspected, in detail, at every
stage of its construction.
Highlights
of the collection include a range of eye sizes for choice,
sprung hinges that act like shock absorbers, rubberised
memory plastic arms, a pocket clip addition makes the
glasses easy to hang on to, and four hypoallergenic
coatings give the frame durability over a long lifetime
to still come up bright and new each time they are cleaned.
An additional
6 new bespoke CAT optical styles are the foundation
of this year's collection. A modern redesign of the
classic double bridge style features twice in this latest
collection (CTO6501 and 6502), rugged, hard wearing
and durable frame fronts combine with high quality parts,
such as spring hinges, to offer comfort, style and quality;
.without compromise.
The
main feature this season is the chevron-inspired temple
design. Featured on styles CTO6503, 6504, 6505 and 6056
this unique concept was inspired by two design fundamentals,
“how to make a frame more lightweight” and
“how to make a frame fit more comfortably”.
The cut out holes in the temple reduce the overall weight
of the frame as solid pieces of surgical stainless steel
are stamped out and removed. This also reduces the overall
thickness of the arms, thus massively increasing the
flexibility of the temples, without the need for a spring
hinge.
